I just bought my fitbit and now waiting for it to come. I already have a polar HRM and will continue to use that to log my workouts. So if I'm using both would I take my fitbit off when I'm using my HRM so as not to double log those calories burned? Thanks!!

Hold down the button on the Fitbit to activate the timer. Start your HRM. When you finish with yor exercise, stop your HRM and hold the button down on the FitBit again to stop the timer. When you input your HRM data into MFP, it will ask you the time (if you have fitbit and MFP linked together). Go to the fitbit website (after you've synced the fitbit) and look at the times. Put it in when MFP prompts for it and viola, your HRM values will override your fitbit values for that time period. It will not be double counted.

It sounds more complicated than it is but I'm trying to be precise enough to walk you through it if you are a new user.
