Jeff Speakman diagnosed with Throat Cancer

unfortunately Mr Speakman has been diagnosed recently with stage 4 throat cancer. he has started radiation therapy and will begin chemo also. They are hoping that this will fix it. It is operable but this means taking out the voice box. All this just as he had signed on for a part in the expendables 3 as well. There is a small hope that he may still be able to be ready in time to film his scenes.

for those that dont know him. he is the head of Ed Parkers American Kenpo system.

    That's sad to hear. I always was a fan of his, after first seeing The Perfect Weapon. Prayers and thoughts go out to him.......
