Countdown to Graduation - 9.2

Just finished 9.2 and it was yummy.

You know, I watched that video about running form and it messed me up for about three runs.

What feels most efficient to me is when I concentrate on pushing my hips a little forward so they feel balanced over my toes. I know that's not what's happening on the outside but that's what it feels like to me. When I do that it makes me feel like I have more room to move my legs and that my entire torso is pulled up giving me room to breathe.

We can take all these tips, but in the end should do what feels right.

Awesome job on getting so close!!!

Yay! That's great news! You're going to do this!!!

I agree with sixpacklady. Getting advice is great and, if it's right, we can try it but in the end, it's best to do what works best for each of us.
You're obviously doing it right. You're doing great with the program and feeling great, too.

Thanks! I plan to run 4 days a week and motivate as many people as possible to try C25K. ;)

One of the great thing about this program is that it lasts for long enough for you to assemble what you need:
    - A community
    - A play list
    - Gear
    - Mental toughness
    - Physical endurance
    - Confidence
    - A running app that supports my goals (I like Endomondo for outside and the AudioFuel podcasts for the treadmill)

I actually ENJOY running now (after the first 10 minutes). I'm getting to be good at it

Also, I have a couple of 5ks lined up - it seems like everybody wants me to do one with them and I just signed up for a "FitTrip" contest at work, so I'll have to work in some weight training as well: I've got plenty of motivation to continue to get into better shape.

5ks are a lot of fun, especially if there is some organized drinking at the end!
