No, I haven't graduated, but today for the first time I was still running when I broke the 5km mark on the treadmill.(that distance includes my warm up walk). I'm on week 8, have been forced inside due to heat (I'm in Australia) and have been using treadmill time to up my speed a little. I now doing 5 minute "sprints" at 6mph instead of my usual 5mph. Today I got to the end of my allotted run time and saw I was at 4.6km.. Kept going, and broke the 5km mark, then cooled off.
I'm 45,a mother of two, and right now I'm pretty damn proud of myself!

That is wonderful. Good for you.

I wish I was forced to the treadmill because of heat. We are getting a blizzard today. My area of MA is in the 2-3 feet range. :explode:

Congratulations! I remember the first time I went over 5K in this program, too. It included my warm-up time as well but still.....it's a milestone marker!

Good for you. You should feel proud way to go! That proud feeling after the run is the only thing that has kept me going on the third workout of weeks 5 & 6.
