I changed my exercise routine and got different results.

I was religiously working out on the treadmill and each week I was challenging myself to do even better but I felt like I hit a plateau and knew I was getting discouraged. I felt that pink cloud excitement diminishing. I really wanted to get the courage up to do something different like a kickboxing class. I asked a friend and went praying that I could get through the class without looking like I couldn't breath. Well, I took the class a few weeks ago and I LOVED IT! I felt invigorated and motivated again. I feel the shape of my body changing and for the good. I feel happier that I am moving in a different direction. I signed up for two classes a week to kick start my metabolism. My old tapes would have played and I would eventually give up. I would feel discouraged and then I would eat, the eating would make me feel bad and then I back to my old ways. Instead, I noticed that I hit a wall and instead of doing what my old tapes said to do, I thought to do something different. Kickboxing was random and something different. It challenged me immediately. My point is to do something different and create new tapes in your head. I will succeed and I will hit my goal weight. I would love to hear your thoughts too? Thanks.
