Finished the program this morning. Unfortunately, 15 minutes into the run, I had to take an unscheduled 5 minute break (call of nature). Well my trainer (i.e. me) is a complete jerk, and wasn't about to let me have a 'cheat' on the last day, so made me reset the run timer and start over. So my final run ended up being 45 minutes total.

For anyone on the fence about starting C25k, I can't recommend it strongly enough. Just three months ago, I was struggling to jog 30 yards to the bus stop if I was late collecting my daughter from the school bus. This morning, I ran over four miles.

My quality of life has improved dramatically. Now it's my daughter out of breath and asking for a break when we run around together at the park, not me. Now if I'm late for the school bus, I sprint to catch it. During the course of the program, I lost over 15 pounds (as part of a larger weight loss regimen, of course).

That is amazing! I completely feel you. Tired toddlers in the stroller after a zoo visit - no problem. I'll just jog them up the hill to the car. I have so much more power and energy for EVERYTHING...and I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to complete the program when I started.

I had hit my goal weight before starting C25k. Since finishing C2k5 the end of December I have mived onto 5k to 10k. I am on W5D3. With the boost to my cardio workouts, I have dropped another 2 pounds. I am thinking I need to up my strength training to build more lean muscle mass.

Yay to us for getting this done!
