hi. I'm new to the whole Paleo eating. My friend from high school was telling me about. I could use some friends who also follow this type of eating. I'd love tips advice. Recipes. Anything. Thanks

Hi Paleo NewBe I have been doing the 80/20 for over a month and have LOVED IT. I used to surrvive off fast food and junk food and so did my family. We all started it at the same time and even thought he results have varied we've all seen results! Dr. Loren Condrad's book the Paleo Diet is wonderful so is Robb Wolfe's Paleo Solution is also truly inspiring.
Add me if you wish and lets do the caveman together...its not a fancy dance it's a lifestyle..lol altough I may patten it into a dance. Good luck!0 -
It took me a good a month to really get the hang of it. I use coconut and almond flour in baking recipes in place of regular flour. Sometimes you can find them at walmart, they are always at Whole Food/organic health food stores. I usually take a food/recipe I like to make and google it with the word "Paleo" after it and almost always come up with some recipes. Also try looking up Paleo or clean eating on Pinterest. Both Lara Bars and Kind bars have some Paleo friendly options, so I use those as 'fillers' when im hungry and don't feel like thinking too hard about what to eat.
Here are a couple recipes I like:
chocolate chip cookies:

spicy coconut chicken (my husband loooved this):

Tuna cakes (taste like the ones my mom makes but lighter/healthier):

Sweet Potato Fries (I don't use sugar on them)

My favorite way to eat fresh green beans (I don't add cheese)

Our favorite way to still have "fried chicken/chicken nuggets" these are tastey, filling, and high in calories
