Hello, a friend recommended you all lovely people to help me out. I am kinda at a loss here, I lost a lot of weight 2 years ago (went from 185 to 118) and kept it off for about a year then starting gaining again so started watching my cals and macros and revving up my workouts by doing p90x and insanity programs. Didn't have any luck at all and kinda gave up for awhile and have now gained even more. I'm back and ready to get busy, I had an appt with my doctor and we think a medi action I'm on and started when I started gaining/stalling despite my efforts could be the culprit so I have a weaning schedule for it and it will take about a mo through get me off of it (hopefully) it's a very hard med to get offif without withdrawals etc. so here I am asking for your help I've never knows if I'm eating the right amount of calories and macros for my body so hope you all can help me out...here I go.....

Hello!

Generally speaking, if you are questioning your current intake whether it's because of a stall or other reasons, we will need quite a bit of information from you that, in general, we're probably going to ask you. As such, it's very helpful if you post it up front. This is somewhat of a long list but all of these things are helpful to know before we can try to establish whether you're eating too much or too little.

1) What's your current intake of calories, on average? This is TOTAL CALORIES EATEN so this would include anything you eat for exercise calories. In other words, how much are you eating? Right now 1700 (per my bodymedia device instruction) but have done 1200 to 1800 before with no luck.

2) What's your current average intake of protein, carbs, and fats, in grams? 50/30/20 (I don't always hit them on the mark it's very hard for me!) I prob more so hit about 25/50/25

3) Do you use a food scale and measure everything? No, should I?

4) Do you track all of your intake, daily? (Everything?) YES

5) Do you take cheat days or days off? NO, well yes but rearely like a wedding or christmas not regularly.

6) How much weight have you lost so far? Big fat ZERO

7) What is your activity like, both exercise and non-exercise? (big difference between a construction worker and a desk job) and did you change that activity withing the last couple of months. If so, what changed. I am a veterinarian technician, I work 4 12 hour days and 1 6 hour day on my feet all day moving around and lifting heavy animals and restraining animals. Right now I haven't done any exercise yet beyond normal dayto day cleaning and anything from my job. I'm having a hard time trying to find the motivation and time with work schedule to fit it in.

8) How long have you eaten at your previous amount and what happened in that time frame? I've tried all over the place as farms calories so can't really answer this one.

9) What's your height, current weight and if you know it, bodyfat%? 5'3" 161 pounds and I'm not sure my BF

10) If you're stalled, for how long and is it a complete stall (zero change in weight)? Complete stall and I was for about 6 months til I gave up and just started back 3 weeks ago and haven't lost anything
