Coconut granulated sugar

Anyone use it? Does it make stuff have a coconut flavor. ? I was told I could use it in place of sugar in a gluten free dairy recipe thus making it paleo...

    i've got some. i haven't used it often, but dipping my finger in the bag, it tastes more like light molasses than coconut. it definitely has the brown sugar flavour over the white sugar one.

    Sugar is sugar.

    It may have a slightly different fructose/sucrose ratio, but sugar shouldn't be a part of your eating plan unless it has a piece of fruit around it.
