Making sure i'm doing this correct?!

Hi,
I'm looking into changing my calories and macros and want to make sure i'm doing the correct thing. I have just updated it today so you can see it in my diary, not 100% sure its correct for what i want to achieve.

I started off with the goal of losing weight and quickly decided no this isn't what i want to want to change my body shape and add muscle, doesn't matter what the number on the scales says for now. I am currently on week 4 of Insanity and love it. I will be introducing some heavy weight lifting as of next week to really help with changing my shape.

I am 5' 4" and weigh 10st 10lbs. My scales tell me i am 30% fat and have 34% muscle. I work at a computer all day with some walking to and from home.

Could you have a scan over my diary and see if you think i am heading in the right direction or if i need to change my calorie target and macros.

Thanks for any input.

Jo

Protein target looks unnecessarily high although if this is your preference and it doesn't cause performance issues then I don't see a problem.

    Did you read this yet?

    Hi,
Yep i did read that (great info on there) and wondered how you know what your LBM is?

I'll change the protein down a tad and probably up the carbs as Insanity is pretty hard work!

I also checked my TDEE and it came out pretty close to here once my Insanity calories were taken into consideration. So i'll continue with the plan i'm on.

    Thanks

LBM is 100% - BF% (total weight less body fat expressed as a percentage of total weight)

There are a number of ways to estimate body fat...none of which are totally accurate. If want Sidesteel and I to do an estimate, please post pics, as explained in the OP, here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/826435-bodyfat-estimation-thread
