Has anyone done the Fat Blaster workout that comes with the CLX set? It's on my Burn It Off/Recharge disc. I can't tell whether it would be a good occasional replacement for Burn it Off or if it's practically the same thing.

It is a work out from her Turbo Jam set. I do it now and then in place of burn it off. For me, if I want to change up the cardio, I usually go for one of my Turbo Fire workouts.0

I much preferred the Burn It Off and Burn Intervals or just another cardio workout like a Jillian Michaels DVD.0 -
I've been doing it when I want some extra cardio on the strength days. After 3 or 4 times, I definitely have the moves down better! I agree that I felt very awkward the first few times... I think because it goes so fast and she calls out things without showing you what they are first. It is fun and I'm definitely sweating by the end of the first turbo!0

Let me just say that I'm so glad there are no hidden cameras in my room. I tried 10 minutes of Fat Blaster last night and stopped. I don't have the coordination for it, and clearly there are some cues that they must have learned from other TJ workouts that are NOT included in this one. And Chalean is far too perky.
So, yeah, nope, not doing that one ever again.0 -
If you try it a few times, you do get the hang of it. Since you do the same routine twice each time, it isn't quite so bad. I was in show choir in high school but learning dance moves was never my strong suit. I'm really enjoying it now that I have the patterns down.0

I don't think I had this workout on my CLX dvds. I didn't see it. But it sounds like its not my forte... I have Turbo Fire and flail around quite a bit!And Chalean is far too perky.
That made me laugh! She is funny how she goes from perky to cranky pretty quick. "Come on you guys!!! SLOWER!!!"0 -

Yeah, I'm not sure how they do slower on some of those. Some of them I still end up finished before them but am pretty sure any slower would have me stopping altogether.0 -
I bought Fat Blaster by itself on eBay. I've only done it a few times, but I'm glad to be reminded of it! It is pretty similar to the TF HIIT workouts, IMO. I may start adding it on lift days when I want something "extra".
It's not my FAVORITE TJ workout (Punch, Kick, and Jam FTW), but I don't remember haaaaating it.0 -
gatx - its on the DVD with Burn It Off and Recharge.
Bluelena - I use it on the lift days. It is fast paced and gets me moving unlike the other CLX cardio ones that make me want to die. (in a good way).
I don't have any other TJ workouts... what would you recommend?0 -
Any of them, really. My personal favorite is Punch, Kick, and Jam. I like all of the Cardio Party ones, too!0
