Good Morning Everyone!!
I made it!! I finally broke the 127's! This morning I weigh 126.3! Well, it took me 10 weeks to lose not quite 2 pounds! What is with that?! I can be assured though, it was not muscle loss! I have just 2 more pounds to lose and it might be another 10 weeks before I lose those...patience and persistance!
I measured too. I won't log those until tomorrow, after my appointment with the trainer. I think it was a month ago that I measured last....my measurements show that I lost 4 inches in that month!
I will take pictures within the week and post them. I am pretty busy now until Tuesday. Plus, for my Valentines gift...my husband gave me money to buy new workout clothes. I want to use them for the pictures. Have to do some shopping within the week!
Yesterday, I tallied the weights lost of the members that consistently weighed in every week. Right now, it looks like junerbroner (June) will be the female winner! The last time I checked, just she and I had logged our weights today. She lost a total of 24 pounds! There are a couple more that could match that so, I will make the final annoucement of the winner next week.
We had two gentlemen as members. One of them bowed out early. So the male winner is Sujit8383 (Sujit). So far, without todays weight logged, he lost 12.5 pounds! He also gets a book, comparable to the same price of the female winners and a DVD of his choice. So, Sujit, be thinking of what you would like. Check out www.amazon.com as I would like to order them from amazon.
I want all of you to ask yourself if you have accomplished:
Be gentle in the way you Speak to Yourself
Be kind in the way you View yourself
Give yourself pats on the back
Take time for yourself
Celebrate your Victories
If you have accomplished any of the above.....you're a winner...even if you did not lose weight or much weight. I wanted this 10 week challenge to be mainly focused on the "within". I hope that was accomplished.
You have brains in your head
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
In any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
Change how you think
And you'll change your Actions.
Change your Actions
And you'll change your life. . .
and catch your dreams.
Listen to Kid President pep talk. I thought I had it to paste here. I see I don't. So, I will do that on Day 69-A and the last recipe on Day 69-B.
Hugs to all!!

I have had a successful 10 weeks. I started the challenge weighing 169.5 and now weigh 165.5. Four pounds over ten weeks may not seem like a lot, but when you consider the holidays (and my birthday and wedding anniversary) in there, it is huge for me. I also lost 2 inches from my hips, 1 inch from my waist and .5 inches from each thigh. The best news is that I did not lose ANY from my bust (not much to start with so this is great)!
I enjoyed participating in this challenge!0 -
I haven't weighed in yet. Woke up late to get the kids ready and didn't even think to step on the scale. I've done pretty well though. I started out around 160lbs and was 147lbs last time I weighed. Loved this challenge. The positive post really helped and somedays were exactly what I needed to read.
Glad I participated....Thanks Fredda!0 -
I lost 7 pounds and I am happy with that. What's the next challenge?0

I lost a couple of pounds as well, but I definitely gained a lot more insight into nutrition, healthy living both physically and psychologically, and exercise! Also, I love that pep talk from kid president. Can always use the encouragement! Thank you so much Fredda for hosting this challenge! I hope there are more to come!0

my current weight is on 189 lbs! i am not able to put it in the list because i post this from my phone!
i can really not put into words how much i learned about myself in the last weeks! there were a number of things that caught me sometimes off guard and got me thinking, in a good way!
i made a couple of decisions that are gonna change my life and i am happy about that, because i finally found the courage to make that step!
also there seem to be a few dark clouds on the family sky, but i feel like i can deal with them a lot better!
thank you nana for great 10 weeks of learning about what i have inside of me and i will look out for a similar challenge of this sort!
have a great weekend all
