I never knew weights BEFORE cardio is better, though I always knew it was better for the weight machines, nasty sweat from running all over them. Though a 3 - 4 minute warm up can be good to warm up your muscles.

I like the resistance note - Three days a week, do 1 to 3 sets each of five resistance exercises (think push-ups and squats).. As I add back in weights, perfect timing.
