The support in our MFP power lifting group is great. It would be nice to meet up with some of you and hit a workout together. Theres a couple on here competing that would be great to go watch and support. Keep it up, expect great numbers from you.

Yall can come work out with me, but don't let me see you watching me if you do. I'll get stage fright and drop something on my head.

It is pretty cool to see how this has come along. A year or so ago this site was a joke for good weightlifting advice and now there's a pretty solid group of people here.

I live in Las Vegas and have an LVAC membership if anybody is in the area and wants to lift.

spoke too soon - they are carefully banning each lifter that makes sense.

I was about two steps shy of getting the banhammer a couple of months back. Since then I've started ignoring the argumentative people who don't know their *kitten* from a hole in the ground, avoiding topics that piss me off, etc.

Being banned doesn't keep you out of here though.

I've actually learned a lot more in the month or so I've been banned by spending more time in a couple of groups rather than the main forum. There's a whole lot less stoopit.

I think my blood pressure may be lower also.

I have a pair of ten pound bumper plates. So I can have the same height for cleans at lighter weights than 135. Eventually I'll get some more heavier ones. They're proud of those damn things.

Fortunately the beer isn't too far from the rack. And I'm seriously confident you could do that pretty easily.
