Hi all,
Who is participating this this event? What training if any are you doing? Are you are walker, runner, or somewhere in between?

I'm signed up! I walked my first one last year in a time just shy of 90 minutes, but I've been doing a C25K-esque plan since the new years, and I'm aiming for a sub 70-minute time this year.
I jog/walk 6k's about 4 times a week.0 -
Good luck!0

My husband and I are doing this as well. Our first event of this type. We work out at the gym 4 days a week and walk 6K twice a week now. We're walking it rather than running it. Good luck!0

I'll be doing it. Have done it several years ago, got 65 min.
Am going to try out an 8km run today. Will likely be a wee bit of walking involved. Hoping to get 50-55 min this year, depends how close I can get to the front!0 -
Am doing it with a group from Work.. This will be my first time doing RTB. I'm a walker and walk at least 40 minutes a day.. Aren't really training for it tho.0

Doing Coatesville this Sunday . . . will be bliss with only 1600 in the 8km instead of 70,000!!!! lol0 -
Thanks!
