How long does it take to see results?

For so long I have been eating 1200 cals a day. I workout 4 to 5 days a week and my job requires me to be on my feet a lot! About 2 weeks ago, I started following the IPOARP. I am now eating around 1600 cals a day. I haven't noticed any change on the scales yet. How long does it take to start noticing results? I know to have patience, I was just wondering when others have noticed results. Should I up my cals? Thanks!

If you have been doing the VLCD for a long time, you would probably benefit from a Full Reset where you eat TDEE for 8 - 12 weeks. This will get your metabolism up and running where it should be. Then when you take a small 15% cut, you will be eating at a much higher level. You would then want to take a TDEE diet break every 8 - 12 weeks, just to "remind" your body that the cut is not your TDEE.

1,600 doesn't sound like very much for someone who works out 4 - 5 days a week on top of an active job...

^^^^ go to this site and calculate your BMR and TDEE for your appropriate activity level ( which I am going to guess is Moderately Active).
Like the post above you probably need to work your way up to that TDEE and stay there for 8-12 weeks. Add 200 calories a week until you hit that TDEE level before you even think about cutting again. It's a process. I would encourage you to read the stickies at the top.
