Is it best to eat tuna packed in water or oil? Actually, it doesn't say what kind of oil on the can. So, water?

Oil preserves the fish better I should imagine but idk.0

I prefer water because you have no control over what oils they use in the process -- could have lots of soy, etc. in it that I would not want in my diet.0

Also a good point. I've seen some imported from Italy brands at the health food store that say packed in olive oil. Maybe I'll try those. Have always wondered if $4 tuna fish in a jar is any different than $1.50 tuna fish in a can.0 -

After eating tuna in water for years and then trying tuna in oil, I vote for tuna in oil. Very tasty!0
