Hey Amanda!
Saw this over on reddit, thought I would join. I'm not quite doing keto, but I do eat low carb. Staple foods for me:
Cheese of many types
Mushrooms
Spinach
Frozen stir fry veggie mix
Tofu
Eggs (how I have come to hate them)
Morningstar fake meats (Veggie dogs, sausage links, and bacon in particular)
Butter
Brazil nuts
Seaweed
I have a fage greek yogurt for lunch. At 17 grams of carbs, it's probably too much for ketoers. I also have sugar free creamer with 1 gram of carb per tablespoon. Also, string cheese and seaweed for lunch. I used to eat sunflower seeds, but got sick of them.
For dinner I have a stir fry with veggies, fake sausage, and tofu. Or, bacon and eggs and sauteed mushrooms, or a skillet with eggs, maybe tofu, spinach, cheese, and maybe olives or artichokes if I have enough carbs.
I'm thinking about adding some sort of tofu and veggies with curry spices and cream into my repertoire.0 -

I have seen a lot of recipes using almond flour, but I have never used it before. What is the taste/consistency differences when using it compared to wheat flour?0

It is a little sweetish compared to wheat flour if you consider wheat as neutral but it wont be noticeable.0
