This is kind of a dumb question since this is a running program but has anyone just walked the whole program? I can't run due to my weight and knees so I want to do this program but just walk at a faster pace when it calls for running. I guess that defeats the point of the program but I like the structure.

    I have not done that I am on week 8 of the program but I think your idea sounds fine. My wife has been modifying the run/walk ratio and has just started running a little more now as she has gotten stronger and lost some weight. Pace is totally individual so maybe calling it run/walk is not right and it should just be comfortable/pushing yourself. I say go for it!

    It's a great idea and doesn't defeat the purpose at all, I think. As long as you get moving, the program is working. I hope you keep us posted on your progress through the program.

    I think its a great idea. Anything that gets you moving is a great thing, so go for it!

    I was absolutely thinking about doing the same thing myself (because I didn't believe that I could ever become a runner). I think you'd get most of the benefit of the program with a lot less impact. Hope to hear about your progress!
