Any tall pears in here?

Hi ladies,

I am 6'0, and I just got totally depressed in my "tall ladies" group because everyone was comparing jean sizes and everyone of similar height and weight to me was wearing 3-4 size smaller jeans (Insert sad face here)!!

I'm 6', weigh 179lbs or 81kg, and am one hell of a pear with my 29" waist, 43" hip and 27"thighs.

Is there anyone with similar ridiculous measurements to make me feel less awkward??

    Hi sandylion!

    I'm definitely not as tall as you, BUT at 5'9" last December I was sitting at a 29" waist, 43" hips, and 25.5" thighs at a weight of around 160 lbs. My top half is WAY smaller in sizes (in most stores 2 sizes diff between top and bottom half.) So, don't be discouraged! It's just the way our bodies are shaped. :)

    I'm not tall. I used to be 5'9" but I've shrunken down to 5'7" (????) and you can tell, just by looking at me, that I'm very extremely pear-shaped. Others are fitting into size 2s at my height and the smallest I can go is now a 6 or 7 because of my wide pelvis! Lol. My problem areas are definitely my thighs, though I still have a little fat accumulated on my tummy from my pregnancies.
