My body is a Benedict Arnold - Stall help please!

Hello! I'm 30 y/o and have been eating more for about 4 weeks. I have also been using a BodyMedia fit for about as long so I'm going to provide you with TONS of data. Diary is open & MFP estimates my TDEE at 1710 - BMF adds anything beyond that as exercise calories. Working on putting in notes in my diary for workout days.

1) My calorie goals are 1550/day. And I shoot for a 40C/30P/30F (155C/116P/52F).
Average Calories Burned & Consumed By Week:

Jan 20-26: Burned: 2033; Consumed: 1625 - 156C/119P/51F (didn't log on Jan 26&27)
Jan 27-Feb 2: B: 1909; C: 1473 - 144/105/52
Feb 3-9: B: 1957; C: 1580 - 149/109/53
Feb 10-16: B: 2050; C: 1647 - 149/100/60
Feb 17-20: B: 1951; C: 1553 - 147/124/51

3) Do you use a food scale and measure everything?
Yup! (Hard to do though when eating out)

4) Do you track all of your intake, daily? (Everything?)
Yup! At least provide estimates when I can't

5) Do you take cheat days or days off?
No. I try to hit my calorie and macro targets every day. Unless you are counting special nights out? I still try to make healthier choices...

6) How much weight have you lost so far?
None.

7) What is your activity like, both exercise and non-exercise? (big difference between a construction worker and a desk job) and did you change that activity withing the last couple of months. If so, what changed.
Non-Exercise: I am very sedentary. I'm a grad student so I work at home most days of the week. I go to campus most Tuesdays and an internship on Wednesdays.
Exercise: I do You Are Your Own Gym 4x/week (I'm on week 3) and run 1 or 2x/week (anywhere from 2-3miles)
I started Couch to 5k in December and that was the only exercise I was doing before changing my eating habits.

8) How long have you eaten at your previous amount and what happened in that time frame?
It fluctuated quite a bit. I was exercising and eating more, switching to 4HourBody diet, and not dieting from Jan - Aug last year. After that I gained until about Nov when I alternated between eating below BMR and not dieting until about Jan.

9) What's your height, current weight and if you know it, bodyfat%?
H: 5'4"; W: 147.4; Military BF: 32.6%; Covert Bailey: 25.8% (Both BF%s measured at Fat2FitRadio)

10) If you're stalled, for how long and is it a complete stall (zero change in weight)?
Complete stall for 4weeks. And here are the numbers *said in my best NPR Marketplace voice*...

Weight; Omron Handheld BF (I know it's not really accurate but it allows me to make comparisons week to week)
Jan 19: 146.1; 25
Feb 1: 146.2; 27.7
Feb 8: 147.6; 27.3
Feb 14: 146.1; 27.6
Feb 21: 147.4; 27.4
I'd include my measurements but they fluctuated in the same way as my weight and bodyfat. No real change.

Goals:
1. Cut body fat
2. Get strong (Regular lifting)
3. Run an 8k in April

Ha, your calorie burns scared me until I realized they were total daily burns.

How much estimating/eating out are you doing? Do you have any medical issues like thyroid or PCOS?

I don't have any thyroid issues or PCOS. Thyroid problems do run in my family though. My mom is hypothyroid, and two of my 3 sisters have Hashimoto's thyroiditis (one developed cancer, had her thyroid completely removed and is in remission). I've tested negative for Hashimoto's and my thyroid functions in the normal range (no details on where in the normal range I'm in).

After reviewing my diary I'm finding I'm estimating quite a bit (something like 15 meals in the 30 days). DH outright refuses to cook and between grad school and my internship, I find it overwhelming to cook every night. Any suggestions?

I batch cook on the weekends, enter my recipes into the recipe builder, then portion out and freeze individual servings. Homemade frozen meals that I know the exact calorie count. I'm rather lazy, so I've been doing a lot of crock pot stuff overnight, waking up in the morning and portioning out. Of course, I also don't mind eating the same thing day in and day out.

I don't mind eating the same things. With his refusal to enter the kitchen I've slowly come to not care what he wants to eat and just cook what I want. He's not a fan of leftovers but that's going to have to be something that he's going to have to deal with as well.

I am just fundamentally opposed to me being the only cook in the house (and this has been a battle in our home for some time now) - which I think is why our eating out has gotten so out of hand.

This is not much of a solution...but typically my husband and I fend for ourselves. We're each responsible for our own dinner. Very occasionally we plan a meal together that we probably also cook together (or at least hang out in the kitchen while it's cooking). The rest of the time it is "choose your own adventure" as we call it

As you added a lifting routine in the last 3 weeks, I am going to ask you to bear with it for another week or so to allow for water weight to stabilize and then get back to us.

Just following up on my thread!

Here are additional stats since my last post:

    Feb 17-23: TDEE: 2071, Consumed: 1678 - 155C, 127P, 59F
    Weight: 147.4

    Feb 24-March2: TDEE: 2030, Consumed: 1506 - 122C, 117P, 53F
    Weight: 144.5

    March 3-7: TDEE: 1927, Consumed: 1602 - 180C, 103P, 54F
Weight: 145.2, Military BF: 31.7, Covert Bailey BF: 25.4

I've also had way fewer estimated meals these last few weeks.
While I'm happy for the loss, it seems excruciatingly slow for the amount of time I've put in (i.e. starting: 146.1 to 145.2). Right?

Hopefully sticking to the plan will continue helping. You have lost 2.2lb in 2 weeks (147.4 - 145.2) so it looks like the water/glycogen weight from the lifting is stabilizing.

Thank you for the update. I am glad it is moving in the right direction. It would be great if you could give us another update in a week or two so we can make sure it continues that way.
