Cushings anyone?

Well, just went back to the endo for my follow up and he said that my previous labs indicate Cushings Disease. He is sending me on for further testing on that avenue but he said that my symptoms and lab results make it pretty obvious. He said not to get all worked up over it yet because he wants to do a "better" cortisol test and that should prove him right (or wrong). I (being the OCD person that I am) am already worked up over it. Yes, the symptoms DO make sense, especially with the combo of Hashi's. What now? Will I have to take MORE meds? If any of you out there have Cushings, what helps and doesnt? What type of foods/diet work for you? I know I shouldn't put the cart before the horse but I want to know what I may be in store for.

    I'd be curious to see if fixing the cortisol fixes your thyroid issues. Look up cushings and/or cortisol on the Stop The Thyroid Madness website and they may have some links and info.
