Hi all,
I apologise if this has been asked and answered previously.
An MFP friend commented on my recent exercise regime and suggested I should up my calorie intake.
I have been burning approx 1000 exercise calories a day and my allocation before exercise is 1350 calories.
My scales have not moved for one month but I think that is because my scales might be broken - and I'm not paricularly worried as it is apparent my body shape is changing.
Anyway, I would like to know about this 'eat more calories to lose more calories'.
I would appreciate an a response from someone who has expertise/knowledge or please point me to a pre-existing thread that answers this question.
Many thanks!
Ben

In short, your base is too low, however, if you are eating those calories back, I would be careful that you are not overestimating them...if you are eating them back, a gross intake of about 2,300 does not seem out of whack, but without knowing your stats I cannot tell.0 -
Your daily calorie goal is less than mine
Read the links posted. I believe you need to reassess your calorie goals.
