student needing to lose over 150 pounds

I've been doing good for the last few weeks. I just started logging food here today. Maybe if I log then I could lose more weight. it's kinda hard to do when you eat in a cafeteria. I do the exercise video walk away the pounds almost every day. I started with the one mile and have gone up to two miles. Is there a certain diet i need to follow? Anyone know any other good exercise videos that are easy?

    Cafeteria's are brutal. I would plan out your trips by pre-logging the food, so that you know how many calories you are consuming. You will be more likely to stick to your food choices so that you don't have to change what you have logged.

    Jillian Micheal's has some great DVD's. I wouldn't recommend Insanity or P90X until you can manage at least 30 minutes of a light run.

    I personally tell myself "Why am I sitting?", "Get something done today!", and "I'll feel better after I workout (even if it's only for 15 minutes)!"
