Have any of you folks ran into any post-season brews? I, just tonight, found a local shop with a metric ton of Lagunita's Brown Shugga. I brought home 2 sixers to stock up, looked around to see if they had any Westy XII bottles floating around...

Also, pardon the wording. I've imbibed a few of the haul from tonight.

    Nice score!! Last time I was climbing in New York I found a bar with that on tap right next to Old Rasputin (which, I'm pretty sure never goes out of craze in my book).

    I personally love finding Troegs Mad Elf out of season, like a Christmas in July type of deal. Ugly sweater partyyyy -- Go!

    The place I buy beer from still has Old Rasputin, Terrapin's Moohoo, and Sierra Nevada's Celebration.

    Ohh.... Moo Hoo... Yummmm.... My fiance got a big bottle of Terrapin's Peanut Butter Stout last month.

    Haven't seen a PB stout, but Moohoo is one of my all time favorites.

    Beer Hive in Pittsburgh just tapped Great Lakes Chrismas, Troegs Mad Elf, and Southern Tier 2XMAS a week ago....another bar here does Christmas in July.

    I trade beer with a friend on the east coast ... just got a box full of stouts today! Fullsteam, Olde Hickory, and of course a Night Tripper (MAN I FUGGIN LOVE NEW HOLLAND).


    I've got a couple bottles of Lugene Milk Chocolate Stout left, but I'm on the lookout for more because it's that good.

    How does Beer Hive compare to FatHeads? That's where I used to go all the time when I lived in Pittsburgh. (and where I still go when I visit) :)

    Indeed. I still have a six in the fridge. Sucks and Brown Shugga are both in there now. Picked up some Mikkeller / Weyerbacher additions today for the b-day. Incredible brews.
    Man I loved Lagunita's Sucks.

    Had the Fullsteam First Frost tonight with dinner... Their Fruitcake, the beer was absolutely unlike anything I've ever had. Cool guys, too.
