MFP says my sugar intake should be 28. Today i had 87g from raisins and 20g from Greek yogurt. :brokenheart: Should i be upset that i went so far over? Or are these "okay" sugars?

I was planning on having my greek yogurt every day for breakfast but since that's most of my sugars for the day i am wondering if i should drop the yogurt. or find low sugar yogurt...

Thanks!

Assuming you're in a calorie deficit and you don't have any medical reason to limit sugar, and assuming you've got some common sense with food selection, I wouldn't worry about your sugar intake.

When I say common sense, I mean limiting junk food to a reasonable percentage of total intake and choosing "mostly" whole foods.

If you can meet that context I'd not even track sugar.

It's fine. Sugar is just a subset of carbs and, unless you have a medical condition, there is no need to track.

Even if you do track, it is intended to be re added sugars, not sugar naturally occurring in the food/drink as it is based on 'discretionary' calories - i.e. those you can 'splurge' on for things with no or little nutritional content.
