I would be staving too at your levels. How active are you because 1300 may not be enough? If you are hungry, you can always add additional protein, fats and fibrous greens. That will help keep you more full. Also, a week at maintenance could be beneficial if you have been in a calorie deficit for awhile, especially if you are getting sick.

If you want, fill out this form and Sara/Sidesteel can run your calories.

    Hi Psulemom
i have only been doing the 1300 calorie for about 3 weeks as i have not been able to do any Cardio for 3 weeks as i tore my calf. I have been doing weights again this week but still do not have the ok to go back to my trainer i am hoping next week i can. I am going to the gym tonight to do weights and i have had the OK to do the row machine. You look at my diary i have been eating lost of Veggies but have cut back on the fruit as my Sugar has been over .Should i not be worried about the natural sugar as you can see other than the one day i do not eat sugar other that natural .

Don't cut back on your fruit. Unless you have a medical condition, there is no need to track sugar separately (assuming a balanced diet) - it is just a subset of carbs.

Have you had a read of this?

Also, your diary does not appear to be completed for many of the days so I cannot make any comments on that, but when it is, you appear not to be eating to your target.

You may not be eating enough. Check your TDEE and shoot for a 20-30% deficit. Beyond that, you may not be getting enough to meet your energy requirements. Especially if you are runner.

Also, I am not sure you are getting enough unsaturated fats in your diet. A lack of the right kind of fats, in combination with a calorie deficit, will cause your body to release the hormone 'grehlin'. Grehlin is the hormone that generates the appetite.

Hi - that cut may be too high, plus the OP is not logging so its hard to tell what is short.

    Thanks Guys
it seem since i hurt myself i really started to watch more of my sugar and i need to stop that as its all natural that i do put in my body and i usually eat a lot more good fats like coconut oil in my smoothies and oats but i really have not been have them a lot with not being able to do cardio . SO i am going to go back to my home made juice and smoothies and adding more fats again. And as far as my diary not being complete i dont know what that is maybe its because i have not been saving it at the end of the day.

Copy all the information in there and post it here. Also, when you weight train, you can still eat more calories. In fact, many people on this board do not do any cardio.

The problem is, that even in the last week, there are missing days, and incomplete logging on some of the days that are there (or if not incomplete logging, very very low cals).

Over what period have you lost the 4lb? Did you get a chance to read the link I provided?
