Soon to be a "sleever"

Hello all, I hope this is the right place to post this, if not, I apologize. I am about 6 weeks from having VSG and am looking for do's and don'ts from veteran sleevers. . . I want to lost more than the dr has projected. He said about 25% of my weight. Where are you all at and if you don't mind, maybe ages? I am 59 and 271 right now.
