macros

i changed my macros up to 35/35/30 cpf just because i tend to bloat from higher carb days. I have been over my calorie goal pretty consistantly yet im losing weight. COuld this be from dropping the carbs down?

My question is could the reason im losing weight even though im over my calorie goal be because of lowering my carbs,

Well I know carbs have a water retention factor, so when you lowered them, you may have dropped water. I'll let someone else verify this, though :)

Possibly you are losing a bit more water weight. How much over your calorie goal are you?

Could be fluid, could be that your intake needs are higher than you anticipate.

What is your total calorie intake and how much did you reduce carbohydrate in grams?

Well i have it set to gain a pound a week and im usually within 100 calories of my goal everyday, my goal was 3828 today and i ended up with 3850, IM pretty consistant on my diet too not much changes day to day.

How much weight did you lose and over what period?

Were you gaining before? And at what rate?

What was your rate of gain before you changed up your macros? And on what calories?

I wasnt gaining at all on 3800 i was just kinda stayin right around 208-210. Im just gonna roll with it and stay at 3800 and see what happens. its getin close to summer anyway time to start shredding. I also realized id been off creatine for a bout a week when i started dropping so im guessin just water retention cuz im getttin pretty vascular,

Did you drop the weight when you came off creatine (the same time you dropped the carbs)?

Looks like 3,800 is your maintenance then - the losses would have been pretty much all water retention.

For help with your macros - what is your total weight and your estimated BF%?
