I am on Day 1 and so far so good. Any advice would be appreciated and feel free to add me as a friend. Question have you ever not been able to eat all 6 meals? Did it affect your weight loss? 5 I believe I can do with no problem, but I am not sure about 6 meals.

I'm still waiting for my food, but based on what I've read, I'd wager that the biggest reason to make sure to fit in all six meals is that you won't get the nutrition you need if you drop meals. This plan is already pretty low calorically, but to make it low nutritionally as well is less than ideal.

My advice is to not tinker too much with the plan. once you start its easy to get carried away.
Next..and I can't emphasize this enough.. pre-soak all your meals! I give all my meals at least a 2 hour soak. for the chili/sloppy joe even longer. do you need to plan ahead? yes. it is worth it.
Finally... get a food scale... those who choose to eyeball usually under estimate their L&G. its also a real pain trying to stuff veggies into a cup measure. so much easier to just weigh. you can find all the charts you need at the following site. Sandy has lots of great recipes also. just be careful to look and see if they are 5-1 approved or not.

    Good luck!

Oh, awesome veggie conversion chart! I had no idea that was out there.

In a lot of ways, I like using volume measurements on MFP (for regular calorie-counting), not because it's accurate, but because it's easy - I can *picture* what a cup of something is, even if I didn't measure.

But if I'm trying to make sure that my nutrients are accurate, weighing is so much better - especially if it means MORE, ha ha! I'll be using that from now on. :-)

Never had a day where I couldn't eat all 6 because I was full. Had one day when I only got in 5 because I was super-busy and didn't have an MF meal with me. Now I make sure I've got some crunch bars in my purse just in case.

Thanks for the advice. I am doing my 6 meals a day and losing weight. Feel free to add me as a friend as well. The more MF friends I have the better!

I've had a couple of days so far where I did feel kind of full - where, if I didn't know that I needed to get in my 6th meal, I might have not eaten anything more.

I don't know how you can be "full" on less than 800 calories, but there you have it.

I always do eat all the meals, because I know I need the nutrition, but I'm considering getting some of the cold drinks in my next order - I figure that those might be easier to get down on the days when I'm already feeling full.
