Level 2 - Pendulum Lunges - Help!

Does anyone else have trouble with these? I am on Level 2 day 6, that's 5 days of level 2, and I still don't think I'm doing this correctly! I'm used to lunges, so the forward lunge is no problem, but something about my coordination or foot placement of the backward lunge has me stumped. I never feel like I'm feeling the backwards lunge in the muscle groups I am supposed to... does anyone have any suggestions or had trouble with this that have gotten better?

    I had some problems with them at first. I wasn't sure if I was doing them right. I had my husband watch me a couple of nights and he made some corrections to my form and then it was easy. Try doing them in front of a mirror to make sure you've got your foot placement correct. I think it's a really awkward move no matter how well you're doing them. Wait until you get to the jumping lunges in level three! Crazy. Good luck!

    I never got them figured out, I just gave up, I was hurting myself. I'm not too coordinated... I just subbed regular lunges with hand weights.

    Thanks AddyMaeMomma and pplf2001. I'll try doing them in front of the mirror to see if I can get the form right. If not, I'll go with the regular lunge modification.
