Makes my skin crawl:

I think my favorite lines were in regards to Lunchables: the most healthy item is the napkin;

and in regards to marketing Coke to the slums in Brazil: "These people need a lot of things, but they don’t need a Coke."

    Brilliant article in my opinion...so many folks just need to "get this".....and they wonder why they don't lose weight or enjoy their foods.....

    I shared this last week when I saw it. If anything reaffirmed my commitment to remove crap food from my life, this was it.

    Exactly. Im so happy to be free of the crap food! Ugh and o think I used to be soo addicted to most of those mentioned growing up. My mom most definitely used to put Dr Pepper in my bottle as a kid. What a shame! But those unhealthy food habits will not be repeated with my son!
  • Yep. Read the article when it came out.

    Also thinking of getting his book - Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us. I believe the article is a snapshot from the book.

    Whoops, missed it the first time it was posted Bostonwolf. I know the article was preaching to the choir but hopefully it opened up some other people's eyes in the process.

    I was in dairy aisle last night, grabbing a few things and I had to stop and look at the nutrition labels on some of those so-called yogurts. It was really astonishing how much sugar are in them. But then again, what can one expect with Oreos and yogurt? Super gross. Still, I bet many people associate Yoplait with diet and then can't understand why they aren't losing.
