Thank you so much for starting this group!
Here is my story.
I am 5'5, female, 171lbs and 36 yo.
I have been trying to get rid of this weight for years! I have lost 45 lbs in the last 5 years but I have been stalled for almost a year.
I tried to do New Rules last year but failed because my female friends were scared that they would get bulky. I was injured years ago deadlifting and really feel better with a workout partner.
I began the hamster wheel process of eliptical/running/stationary bike and have completely stalled.
I have hired a personal trainer and will begin 3 sessions weekly of full body lifting. Compound lifts. I also plan on doing HIIT. Should I do HIIT on lifting days or the off days?
According to my Fitbit, my TDEE is around 2000. I have been aiming to eat 1600 calories which is 20% of my estimated TDEE. According to my PT my body fat is 33%. They calculated it with those handle bar things.
does my intake number look right? And what should my macros be?
I have tried to figure this out with the search function but I suck at math!
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
edited to fix spelling.

I would start here:

I would also recommend you read this, as this is incredibly important for many:

Lastly, after you have read and applied those threads, you can fill this out if you'd like specific plateau related help:

Locking for now. If you decide to fill out the plateau questions you can create a new thread and we'll do what we can to help.0
