Peppery Reds?

My husband has a great fondness for peppery tasting reds. Usually we can get hints of that taste in Malbecs or in Syrahs.

Does anyone have any nice black pepper suggestions? I've found my favorite wine of all time (Rombauer Chard) but hubby still seeks his wine soul mate.

Has he tried Seven Hills malbec?

I also find some cabs to be peppery.

I just had something peppery a couple weeks ago -- let me check my notes at home tonight.

    Rombauer Zin has it.
It is a characteristic of the Zinfandel grape.
    Try 7 Deadly Zins
    Cheers

    PS
I was involved with a wine group for a few years.
Couple friends are wine judges and sommelier.
I'm a lil rusty but I will try to help.

Thanks for reminding me of this one! I had it a couple years ago and remember really liking it!
