Weekly wine tasting: Sauvignon Blanc
Drink, post pic, tell what you liked or didn't like.
Weekly wine tasting: Malbec
So, go out and find a Malbec of your choice... take a picture of the bottle (or find one online). Drink it, and then post a little bit of what you thought about it. Post by Saturday, March 9th. On Sunday we will pick a new varietal.

Value Priced Wines - Red and White
What are your favorite wines under $10? Rex Goliath is good across the board, IMO. When I need a cheap wine, they're my go-to.
Food and Wine Pairings
What are some of your faves?? For me a Gewürztraminer or Riesling with Thai food is awesome. Chardonnay with Hot and Sour soup is great as well. Pino Noir with Orange Duck is another good one. Cabernet with steak is the old stand by. Syrah/ Shiraz and BBQ. Drink it by itself then with different foods. The taste of the wine…
Peppery Reds?
My husband has a great fondness for peppery tasting reds. Usually we can get hints of that taste in Malbecs or in Syrahs. Does anyone have any nice black pepper suggestions? I've found my favorite wine of all time (Rombauer Chard) but hubby still seeks his wine soul mate.
$10-15 Favorite White Wines:
What are your favorite whites in the $10-15 range? Mine: Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc I don't have any others at this time. LOL
