Two-Out-of-Three Thinking

I've been thinking lots and lots and lots about my relationship with food (as I'm sure everyone else here does), and I've been trying to figure out how to feed this body, especially now that I'm at maintenance. I wrote this up on my own personal blog, and I thought I would share it here. It's more of a knitting/crochet/craft blog, but I've been talking about this journey there, too. I hope it helps us think through all of this.

That was interesting--thanks for sharing it.

I hadn't really thought about the third criterion of sharing food with someone you care about. It makes sense, and I will think about it more.

Sharing food with others is at the very heart of my family's culture. It's something I've forgotten about in my day-to-day North American life!

Those guidelines are perfect for me. I'd been coming up with 3 similar "rules" but I do like your 2 out of 3 part.

Yeah. A teacher once told me eating together and inviting others to eat with you is a sign of acceptance. It's also a way to spend quality time with those you love. :) When I eat in front of others I know I can't binge... so that's a plus. I don't eat with others too often though.

Nice blog post! Thanks for sharing. :flowerforyou:
