I started Paleo when I started CrossFit 2 months ago. The Paleo was recommendation from CF instructor. I have asthma (very mild, usually no symptoms until running) and have had a huge improvement since starting. I no longer weaze while running (amazing how much better I feel). Has anyone else had similar reactions.

I also suffer from asthma and being primal has definitely helped that. I also don't snore near as bad (almost none) anymore and my sleep apnea has gone away. I am sure part of this is also due to the fact that I lost over 100 pounds, but being primal got me that, too.

I am hoping that I will be able to stop using my CPAP machine when I lose enough weight. Glad to hear going primal and losing the weight has done that for you.

I've had exercise-induced asthma and was on an inhaler for a while. I, too, have noticed a significant improvement in my asthma when I am paleo compliant. I can tel when I've eaten some crappy dairy or wheat-containing salad dressing (I eat on the run a lot) because my asthma will kick in. It feels good to breath!

I have had asthma ever since I was two. I used rescue inhalers as well as preventive inhalers such as Advair. Everything under the sun effected my asthma and exercising without my inhalers was impossible. I lost my insurance about a year ago and have been having a very tough time breathing. I have a few friends and family members that would give me some of their extra rescue inhalers but life without my preventive inhaler was miserable. I even resorted to taking the primatine pills (even though they made me jittery) to help my breathing.

I decided to try the Primal diet for two reasons...1. weight and my health and 2. my asthma.

I have not had a great deal of luck with the weight yet (slow but steady) but I feel great and my asthma is barely noticeable most days. I even worked out on day after forgetting my inhaler at home and had no problems. My inhalers that used to only last me a few weeks are now lasting for months. I cannot believe how well my asthma is with this way of eating. I know that I will always have to keep an inhaler with me just in case of emergencies since any allergens effect my asthma severely, however, as long as I am not around a factor my asthma is nearly gone.
