How long to get into ketosis?

I just started the induction phase of Atkins yesterday and I woke up with one hell of a headache today. Is it possible to be in ketosis is only one day???? Thanks so much!

    I wouldnt imagine you are in ketosis - but it is possible.

    I think it would be your body reacting to teh sudden lack of carbs... youll get through it.. 3 days of this and youll be feeling so energetic!

    I started on a Sunday and was in Keto Monday morning. I didn't get the "keto flu" until day 3 though but it was mild for me.

    Edit: You can get ketosticks for cheap at the drugstore or Wal-mart.
