*&%$@ Hidden carbs!

Hidden carbs got me two days in a row. I'm beyond pissed.

Last night I made a spiced mayo to go with our bacon wrapped chicken. Tonight, I covered my salmon filet in another spiced mayo and baked it.

I realized just a few minutes ago that it was Olive Oil mayo/reduced fat and there were hidden carbs in it! 2 per Tablespoon, in fact. Dammit!

Both yesterday and today I've had only 22 total carbs, even with the LF mayo counted in, but yesterday I thought I only had 18. I even planned tonight's dinner so I could have lemon juice with my salmon and salad dressing without going over 20 carbs.

There's not much left in that jar of mayo. Most of it was gone before I started on this adventure. I'm probably going to toss it (or let my other family members eat it) and pop open a jar of full fat deliciousness tomorrow.
