OK fellow 1200-ers, yet another 1200 calorie bashing thread went up today and many people were declaring that you can't find any success stories on here from people who were succeeding on 1200 cal diets. And if they say that lost it at that rate, they won't post pictures, which means they are all skinny fat, or just lying I suppose.
So I thought I would create a Success Stories thread for all of those to share their success. For those of you who are eating around that level and succeeding, please go to the post below and respectfully share your success with the MFP community. If you have pics to post as well, that would be great! Thanks!

My body isn't perfect and hasn't been since I had my kid 17 years ago. But I do have a before and after pic as my profile that I'm quite proud of and I've been pretty much a 1200 calorie dieter this whole time. Exceptions involve binge eating or variations on how many exercise calories I chose to eat back at a given time.
Not done losing yet, I still have some fat around my middle, but that isn't because I'm 'skinny fat' from 1200 calories, it's because I'm still overweight.
Anyway, people always want something to bash so they can group up with other people and play 'us against them'. Not really worth getting upset over. It's just human nature. Everyone just needs to figure out what works and do that no matter what it is. Advice is great but the bashing is stupid. Even when it's bashing something truly unhealthy (I wouldn't recommend the crystal meth diet, for example!) there are ways to say things that help people and ways that just piss people off. Some of the anti-1200 posts just piss me off.0
