my 2 try of power 90 on day 17 ...I did not loose any weight. I am on day 3 tomorrow and i fear that it may be the same. Im not following the food plan but i trying to make good choices. what else can i do. shakes? during my tours and starving . yes starving. i could only get down to 155. so i only lost 30 lbs with intense military training and starving it took 10 month to drop that weight.
What can i do to drop weight quickly and safe, my body takes forever to drop weight .

Look at a low carb, high fat diet change. It's what I use, as does my wife. Check out Gary Taubes and Mark Sisson

This is the first article I'd recommend reading: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/07/07/magazine/what-if-it-s-all-been-a-big-fat-lie.html?scp=1&sq=what if its all been a big fat lie?&st=cse
I have tried .... and failed ... at least 3 times to lose weight through "better choices, fewer calories and exercise" ... you know, the traditional way that doctors, nutritionists, etc tell us to lose weight. I am a guy that quit tobacco cold turkey. Just woke up one morning and quit and never touched it again. I've got willpower for days. And I can't beat the cravings for pasta, bread, cake, candy, etc. .... Except by eliminating them and eating a diet with lots of "good fat".
I would highly recommend reading Gary Taubes' book "Why We Get Fat" as well. It's eye opening.
Historically, I would last as long as 3 months on whatever diet and exercise program I was trying out this time before I couldn't hang anymore. I'd fight and struggle with myself and perhaps lose 10 lbs or so ... while continuously cheating like crazy. And finally just give up and gain the 10 back and some more on top of it.
This time I've been on my "diet" (really a lifestyle change) since June 10, 2012. I haven't quit, only slipped once and was able to fix that. I've lost over 30 lbs, have got my workout mojo back, too. Also have dramatically improved my blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar numbers.
My two cents worth.0
