First 5x5 workout this morning

Well today was my first 5x5 workout and the first time I have lifted weights in 15 years as well. Everything went pretty good, although I think my grip is too wide on the squat. I think as I lose the flab the grip problem will take care of itself.

Your grip problem may be related to lack of shoulder flexibility. Elliot Hulse has some shoulder stretches that helped me.

I do the shoulder delocator exercise everytime I go to the gym before I squat... I started with a wider grip and eventualy got a better low back bar position as I got more fexible and as the weight got heavier. Now that the weight is heavier I cant go back to an olympic style bar position, it hurts my traps too much.0
