It's going to happen, I can feel it...

I feel the hole in my stomach, I am hungry. Not for food, but for a binge. I just want to stuff myself full of everything in sight. I don't understand why I feel this way or why it happens. I guess I just feel like food is a control issue. And when I eat, I like to eat what I want, when I want, and how much of it I want. When I binge, i dont follow a diet, I dont worry about calories, I dont worry about my weight. When I try to change my eating habits, count calories, exercise, or control my binging, I feel out of control. Binging gives me control I guess. Control to do what I want and screw everything! I don't know how to fix this. Please, give me any support or advice you can offer

I'm sort of the opposite - I feel in control when I count my calories and not binge, like the food will not control me0

The binge cravings get better. I have been able to avoid them by focusing a week (or a few days) at a time. Thinking about making such a drastic lifestyle change is very daunting as food has always been a huge comfort. Whenever I feel like I might binge, I tell myself that I can stick with it for one more week. I am now 4 weeks in with no binges, although I have cheated here and there. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you do have a binge, don't let that stop you! It is too easy to have a bad day then procrastinate getting back on plan, better to have one bad day then give up0
