Horrible Balance!

I am in week 2 of Lean and my second round of Clahean Extreme. I am still struggling with this one! I feel so strong when I finish the Push month, but struggle through these Lean exercises! I find I need to lift lighter in order to do the moves correctly--anyone else and if so did you see any negative results from having to lower your weight?

If you are struggling with form due to balance, then I would definitely lower the weight to get the form down before upping the weight again. I can't balance even on two feet, so I struggle with balance too!

I did Lean 2 for the first time last night, and YES! I have had to lower the weights significantly from Push, particularly if I have any chance of focusing on moving my legs at the same time. I was down to 5 lbs on some shoulder exercises last night because my form would have suffered more than it already does. Even Chalean mentions having to drop down a good bit to keep proper form.

I definitely dropped my weights from Push to Lean. I feel like I use my 12s a lot on Lean and on Push I was using my 20s a lot. But on the breakdowns that are just squats, I always grab my 20s.

I just did Lean 3 this morning and am still feeling it in my chest and arms... so even though its lower weights, its got to be working.

I am sure there is logic to how the workouts are laid out... but it doesn't make sense to me :) I don't know why but Lean feels disjointed to me. I felt there was a progression from Burn to Push and then there's Lean. Its like when they added Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch... who's this kid? :)

I agree. The rhyhm or concept of the Lean workouts feels strange to me. It feels really weird to be constantly using one or two muscles over and over again with so little variation. And the compound moves of Lean feel kinda random. Almost like "Oh, you know what we've never worked in before? Hamstring curls! So let's do them with a movement that makes no sense balance-wise at all!"

I definitely feel muscle-soreness, so something is working.
