Hi guys
I would really like to have a fat burner pre-workout drink on hand in my gym bag that helps with energy levels. Any suggestions?
Something low carb/sugar/fat/calorie would be good...lol....to replace the yuk sugarfree energy drinks i've been grabbing from the gym fridge on the way through lately
ugh yuk. Gotta get out of that habit before it sets in well!
Looking for something that I can just quickly shake up with water. Already get heaps of protein from my normal shake and food. More after something for a boost of energy and fat burner.
Cheers

I'm not aware of any fat burners that actually have an appreciable effect. For energy I personally prefer caffeine from coffee but I'll leave it to others to suggest something for pre-workout performance.0 -
^^same as SideSteel re coffee and whey only as well as the comment re fat burners.
There are products that apparently give people energy, but I am not familiar enough with them to be comfortable recommending anything.0 -
I believe 1,3-dimethylamylamine or DMAA is one of the ingredients that is said to give a very real boost in energy and focus . I am not sure that any claims are made as to fat burning, and if those claims are made, I'd be skeptical.
Disclaimer: I've only taken a preworkout once. it was a free sample. i don't even know why i'm replying here.
Also adding that caffeine is a good preworkout, and many (most?) preworkout drinks contain copious amounts of it.0 -

It really depends on your tolerance to stims. You could take a pre made fat nurner but they are pretty ineffective, or any number of pre workouts, which would help with energy and focus depending on which one you choose. For fat burning + energy 20mg of ephedrine + 200 mg caffeine is the way to go, but I would pyramid up to that amount something like the below
http://www.hotnfit.com/fat_loss/EC_dosages.html
As for a pre workout, driven sports craze gives really good clean energy and focus, SAN Fierce Domination is solid and the new PES Enhanced isn't half bad. If you really need an added boost to those you can mix them in an energy drink, but again depends on your tolerance to stims0 -
