Hello all. I am Derek and I am new to the Paleo/Primal lifestyle. I started this about five days ago and although the first two or three days sucked I feel like I am getting into a groove and just starting to feel better overall. I am going to get my eating down over the next week and then add in exercise.

I do find that I am bored with breakfast and need to come up with some ideas. I guess I should order some cookbooks and stuff since it looks like i am going to embrace this new lifestyle.

I would really like it if some of you guys would add me as friends so I can learn from you and maybe you guys could even critique my diary? I need all the help I can get..we are in this together.

There are SO many websites with recipes and info that I don't think you really need any cookbooks
    marksdailyapple.com (for info and recipes)
    http://nomnompaleo.com (recipes)
    http://www.paleoplan.com/recipes/
    http://paleomg.com (love her page)
    http://pinterest.com has lots of recipes
    http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com
the ist goes on and on and on and there will be lots of people that will help you here as well as other primal/paleo communities.

Awesome. Thanks for the websites. I guess maybe i lean towards primal since I am doing the dairy thing. Loving it so far though.

I'm doing primal (also the dairy thing). I think the biggest thing for me is realizing that breakfast doesn't need to be breakfast. I love lazy nights of doing eggs and bacon for dinner, so why can't I do leftovers or lunch/dinner type stuff for breakfast? Switching it up makes it a bit funner and definitely more interesting.
