I just got these in the mail today and I am very excited! Has anyone else used/viewed these DVDs? I will, of course, post my own review, but I am curious about the opinions of others.

Bumping because I have wanted these, but didn't want to pay the money without someone telling me their experience with it.

I have watched three of them so far. I'm a little disappointed. The tricks fall in to two categories:

    1. Stuff I already know.
    2. Stuff I can't do yet.

I think I saw one trick on the beginner DVD that I hadn't learned in class and, to be honest, I kind of found it on my own anyway. I picked up a few ideas from the techniques DVD, but most of it has already been covered in my class. If I were a complete beginner I might have more use for these, but I've been at it a little over a year already and don't need to learn the basic climb again. I'm hoping the flexibility DVD will make it all worthwhile, but so far I don't feel I've gotten my money's worth. I've enjoyed them and I really admire her, but I don't think these DVDs are worth the $125 I paid for them.

Have you tried the Jamilla Deville dvds? I like hers. She teaches a large range of tricks from beginner to advanced, shows the variations of grips for the moves, some moves she will show how to get out of safely if you cant complete the trick, and she breaks them down pretty simply.

Can you give specifics on what kind of tricks they show? And does she offer any modifications/ideas on how to work towards the harder moves?

I will have to check out the Jamilla Deville DVDs. Thanks for the tip! These were my first set, but I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to stuff like this. I'm like "they have DVDs for pole dancing? <squeal>"

I will have to watch again and take notes on which tricks she does. My studio uses different terminology so you might not know what I'm talking about if I were to start listing them! She gives a lot of tips and tricks and advises on which grips are best and which are dangerous. I haven't watched all of the advanced one yet, but it may have more modifications and advice on progression. She is very good about showing how to get in to and back out of the poses. have you ever gotten "stuck?" I know I have!

She did a shoulder mount from the air that made my eyes bug out. I am not that cool yet!
