new to bodymedia

I am new to body media. I currently have the bodybugg version 3 but am working towards getting the bodymedia core. I like that MFP is going to be able to sync with it. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

I think you will love it, but read up on the linking of the two before you do it. Because I already have my foods entered in the BMF database, I don't have my accounts linked. Love knowing what I'm burning, tho, so I know what I can eat.

The only suggestion I have is not to second guess or overanalyse the numbers. Just let it do it's thing and create a deficit of 500 or so calories and the pounds come off.

Just got my Bodymedia today...wooHoo...although I have had the bodubugg for over a yr, i was unhappy with the food diary on it and i like the fact that the BMF can link with MFP so I bought it. I calculated my numbers on the fat2fit website and based on my BMR customized my goals on BMF accordingly still ending up with a 1000 cal deficit. The calorie burned goal on BMF was a bit unattainable for me... and the cals to be consumed. Will this be OK or should I try and reach the goals set my BMF...it was like 3000 cal burned target, having the bodybugg, I know that even when I work out 2x/day I dont burn that!!

1000 deficit is a lot. I'id bring it down to 500. So what are you saying your BMR is. Why have you used fat2fit and not worked it out from BMF?
