Hello! I'm doing really good with my diabetes, diet, and exercise! I've been able to lower my lantus by 10 units since starting! That's a great accomplishment for me!
Hope you've been having a wonderful weekend too!0 -
That's such great news about your Lantus- Good on you!.. I had a lovely weekend but very busy....0

Thought I would offer an update. Had a medical in early March and my H1AC was 6.6, down from 7.8 about 3 months ago. I am pleased. The goal is to get it lower of course, but I am happy with this initial result. My fasting BG remain high. Between 112- 150 depending on the day. I have let exercise go for the last couple of weeks and I think that is the culprit. Before when I was exercising more regularly, I was able to get it below a 100 a couple of days.
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Thanks for asking! Since losing 21 lbs and watching what I eat and actually exercising (joined a gym...crazy, I know), I have drastically decreased the amount of insulin I need to take. My fasting blood glucose was always well over 200 and lately, I am anywhere from 70 - 120. Still need to work on getting that more consistent, but am very excited that I am no longer over 200!
I am from cold Wisconsin in the US. I bet you have some nice weather where you are at!0 -
It's great to see you all doing so well.. keep up the great work!:flowerforyou:0
