The body doesn't work in "week" periods

Our bodies can take months to adjust to change. It can take minutes to add bloat but days to rid of it.
We don't work on set clocks and time periods. Being in this for a healthier body and mind- you need to be willing to put in the time (any time needed) to hit your end goal.
This has been an incredibly long journey for me to learn how my body works, what makes it tick, what foods to avoid, and how long it takes to adapt. It's been frustrating and depressing. But when I threw away the scale I really learned that scale weight means nothing. If I am 240 but in incredible shape and health that's all that matters.
Stick to em2wl. The process isn't a gimmick or some fitness fad. It's a proven way to become healthier. I've seen so many changes this week after months of zero progress and it's very exciting to see that hard work come to fruition.

Good thought! No quick fixes are a success when the weight comes back! I'm feeling healthy nourishment, and exercise is positive regardless of size! Gla you feel great! Xo0

Congrats on all your changes!!
I really appreciate the advice and reminder, because I like to think my body runs on weeks like my mind, and it can be frustrating.

Thanks for the inspiration! I'm relatively new to this process (tried it last spring but gave up). I am determined to give it my all even when I am not sure how to proceed at times. Glad to know that everything is working out for you!0

I understand your point. I am healthier today than I was July 1st, 2012. I have dropped 37 pounds and nearly 17% BF. But I know my ideal weight is closer to 200 than 235. The good news with EM2WL I am not in a rush to get there eating low calorie diets and/or doing high intensity cardio 7x a week.0
